Well on an interiors website we have to have IKEA on here at least once! We picked sofas and sofa beds from IKEA as not only do they provide affordable and good quality, but they also manage to provide a great range of sofas from leather to fabric, machine washable folding, bending, jumping and all singing and dancing sofas and sofa beds!

We are secretly fans of this Swedish giant’s products. If you need to grab some furniture or accessories and don’t mind the chaos of the visiting hordes, then what a great place for inspiration. Not everything is cheap either, you can pick up a nice corner leather sofa for £1500. Not the cheapest we’ve seen but certainly one of the better value corner sofas.

What sets them apart? Well the site has now started to deliver nationwide so if you are unable or uninclined to visit your local store, IKEA will now let you buy online and deliver to you at their, sorry I mean your, convenience. It’s great to think we can grab these excellent quality furnishings for our homes online at last if we choose.

The Ikea site is massive, with access to an awful lot of great products, some of which are insanely unnecessary but heck, why not sling a 50p candle holder into your basket, seeing as you’re there anyway! Back to sofas, they have a great testing and quality assurance procedure on many of their lines. These also form a great part of their marketing campaign. There are a wealth of sizes and styles available as sofa beds, corner sofas and ‘day beds’ and you name it, they have it.

A sofa is mission critical to many interiors but also really practical in spare rooms as a sofa bed, crammed into a nook or cranny in the lounge for occasional guests, and suited to so many interior applications that it’s hard to imagine life without them. That’s probably why we added IKEA here, it’s hard to imagine life without them!

So, if you need a comfy seat to park down and relax at the end of the day, and your budget is low or high, they are sure to have a quality item which is just for you. Mix and match fabrics or grab a bargain leather depending on your mood. Definitely worth a visit.
